The terms on which we provide our services
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of tutoring, mentoring and educational support services by Thrive Tutoring Services ("Thrive", "we", "us", "our") to clients including families, schools, and local authorities ("you", "the client").
By engaging our services or submitting an enquiry, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Thrive Tutoring Services provides:
The specific services, frequency, duration and format of support will be agreed with you prior to commencement and confirmed in writing.
All service arrangements will be confirmed in writing (including via email). For institutional clients (schools and local authorities), services may be governed by a separate service level agreement or contract, which will take precedence over these general terms where there is any conflict.
We reserve the right to decline or withdraw from any engagement where we do not believe we are the right fit for the young person's needs, or where the working arrangement is not safe or appropriate.
All Thrive tutors and mentors:
We carefully match tutors and mentors to young people based on need, experience, and compatibility. While we make every effort to maintain consistency of staffing, we reserve the right to reassign staff where necessary, giving reasonable notice wherever possible.
The safety and wellbeing of children and young people is our highest priority. All staff operate under Thrive's Safeguarding Policy and are required to report any concerns in accordance with statutory guidance. By engaging our services, you agree to support our safeguarding obligations, including providing relevant information about the young person's needs where appropriate.
Fees are agreed prior to the commencement of services and confirmed in writing. Unless otherwise agreed:
We treat all information about the children and young people we support, and their families, with strict confidentiality. Information is shared only where necessary to provide the service or where required by law (including safeguarding obligations). Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.
Thrive Tutoring Services provides educational support services and does not guarantee specific academic outcomes. While we work diligently to support every young person's progress, results depend on many factors outside our control.
Our total liability to you in connection with our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the three months preceding any claim.
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Any materials, resources or documentation produced by Thrive tutors or mentors in the course of delivering services remain the intellectual property of Thrive Tutoring Services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We take all feedback seriously. If you have a complaint about our services, please contact us in the first instance via our website. We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and aim to resolve it within 14 working days.
Either party may terminate a service arrangement by giving 14 days' written notice. We reserve the right to terminate services immediately where there are serious safeguarding concerns, non-payment, or behaviour that makes it unsafe or impractical to continue.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
If you have any questions about these Terms and Conditions, please contact us via our website contact form.
