Sessions take place in the child's home, in community settings such as libraries and family hubs, in school where commissioned, or online — selected based on what works best for the young person and what is safest for them.

Thrive matches the right tutor or mentor to each young person rather than assigning whoever is available. Support is flexible, trauma-informed, and built around the individual child's needs — academic, emotional, or practical. Tutors and mentors are qualified professionals; tutors hold qualified teacher status (QTS), and all are DBS checked and right-to-work verified before placement.
